The Uttarakhand Assembly on Wednesday passed the historic Uniform Civil Code (UCC) 2024 Bill in the Assembly. The Bill will become an Act after it gets an assent from the state's Governor. The much anticipated Bill has provided for several changes to uniformly regulate marriage, divorce, and inheritance rights across religions.
