Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill starrer 'Thank You For Coming', directed by Karan Bhulani, was released worldwide in theaters on October 6, clashing with 'Mission Raniganj' at the Box Office. The multi-starrer sex-comedy did not get the expected response at the Box Office. According to the Sacknilk report, the movie opened at the Indian Box Office on Friday with a net total of Rs 1.06 crore.


This was followed by 1.56 crore and 1.67 crore on the second and third day respectively. But the numbers so a huge dip on Day 5 and Day 6 when the collections didn't even cross the 50 lakh mark. The numbers on these days were 35 lakh each. Yet, due to a fair performance initially, the film has managed to hit the 5-crore mark.


Talking about the film's storyline, it revolves around the joys and friendships between four female friends. Starring Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi and Dolly Singh in pivotal roles, the film is directed by Rhea Kapoor's husband, Karan Boolani, while it has been produced by Rhea and Anil Kapoor's production house, 'Anil Kapoor Film Company Private Limited' and the script of the film is written by Radhika Anand and Prashasti Singh.


In addition to the five women, actors Anil Kapoor and Karan Kundrra have a special appearance in the film. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last month at the prestigious Roy Thomson Hall and received standing ovations from the audience.






Meanwhile, on the workfront, Bhumi will next be seen in 'Bhakshak'. Apart from that, she also has 'The Lady Killer' and 'Meri Patni Ka Remake' in the pipeline. On the other hand, Anil Kapoor will next be seen as 'Balbir Singh' in 'Animal'. Additionally, he also has 'Fighter' in his pipeline.
