New Delhi: It's the season of weddings in telly land! After Aditya Narayan, a popular TV actress has tied the knot. We are talking about Shirin Sewani, who played the role of Jasmeet Maheshwari in Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi starrer 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. The actress got hitched to Udayan Sachan on Sunday (December 6) in a court marriage followed by a small ceremony at her home. Shirin and Udayan took nuptial vows in the presence of only few family members.

Interestingly, Shirin and Udayan met a common friend's birthday bash, which they both were about to miss. However, destiny had something else in store for them and cupid did its job.

"We both met at a common friend’s birthday party, which both of us were about to miss. But I guess we were destined to meet that day. We hit it off instantly and knew the first day we met that this is it. Now, I am just looking for the eventful journey called life, together with him," Shirin told Times Of India.

Shirin shared the first photo from her wedding on social media along with the caption, ''Ready to fly with my captain." For the uninitiated, Shirin's husband is an airline captain.

The actress looked resplendent in saree while her hubby complimented her in a white ethnic outfit. Shirin completed her look with heavy jewelry. The couple looked beautiful together while posing for the camera. Check out the photo!



Shirin's 'Yeh Rishta' co-stars including Lata Saberwal, Rohan Mehra and Niddhi Uttam dropped comments on the post. Rohan, who played the role of Naksh in 'YRKKH', commented, "Congratulations Shireen god bless you both."
