Amrin Shaikh, the sister of Munawar Faruqui, will be joining the house in the next episode of Bigg Boss 17. Her reunion with her brother causes her emotions to soar as the other players are locked in the freeze-and-release game. When Amrin sees that Munawar has lost weight, she encourages him and calls him the family's pillar of strength. When Abhishek Kumar is finally freed, he runs to Amrin in tears and asks her to give her brother energy for the next two weeks.
During the family week, Arun Mashetty's wife entered the show and gave some heartbreaking news to the contestant after which he was seen bursting into tears.
Arun was asked to come inside the confession room, where his wife Malak was seen waiting for him. She then told him to be strong before giving out the news.
She shared that she had a miscarriage and it was because she was missing him. After which, Arun was seen breaking down.
To pacify him, his wife said: “God liked him, he took him.” and that the baby is still “zinda” between the two of them. She also spoke about their daughter.
After the sensitive conversation, Bigg Boss shared that the information was not shared to Arun because his family did not want him to know and instead wanted him to focus on the game.
Arun’s wife also shared that now his haters to will become his friends after seeing him in the show.
Later, his wife in the garden area was seen talking to Arun about quitting alcohol. She also told him to thank Bigg Boss for helping him quit it.
Samarth Jurel has reportedly been ousted from the Big Boss 17 house as per multiple voting polls conducted on social media platforms. The voting trends showed that Samarth was eliminated as the contestant with the fewest fan votes. Meanwhile, voting lines at Jio Cinema were closed at 10 in the morning on January 11.
Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain will be seen talking about an incident where her mother-in-law was talking to the actor about kicking her husband in the next Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 17 with director Karan Johar. Ankita talks about her conversation with Vicky's mother. She says that he has always been a caring and supportive husband.
Vicky asks Ankita: "Has my family ever interfered about what you are working, what you are wearing... because a bad image of me and family is going out."
Ankita says: "No, your family has always been supportive."
Vicky asks: "Did I ever discuss anything related to your past?"
Ankita responds: "No, you have always been supportive, and loving."
In the latest episode, Munawar spoke about her relationship with her ex-girlfriend Nazila and said that she wanted to send his son to a boarding school. He also said that Nazila accused him of having affair with her own sister. After the episode, Nazila took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "“It’s a shame the lies people will say to defend themselves.”
After Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain's mothers entered the house and gave them feedback, Ankita is upset thinking that everyone is misunderstanding her. She confesses all this to her husband Vicky Jain, who tells her that their thinking process is entirely different. Ankita then asks Vicky if he wants to take a break from their relationship.
Recently, Ayesha Khan's brother Shahbaz was inside the Bigg Boss house. In a conversation with Indian Express, he shared his experience of meeting Munawar Faruqui. He said he is satisfied that both are moved on. Shahbaz said, “I liked how both Munawar and Ayesha handled their situation, and they kept it very simple. Munawar apologized, Ayesha accepted it and they both moved on. My interaction with him was a healthy one, I respect Munawar for accepting his mistakes. He could have easily denied all claims from Ayesha, but he owned them up. I spoke to them, cleared things out, and asked them to move on in life. I am very satisfied that they both have sorted things out.”
Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law said that the star used former partner Sushant Singh Rajput's name to gain sympathy for herself, but Ankita's mother has stood up for her daughter. In an interview with India Today, she defended her daughter, stating that it was not her intention to talk about Sushant Singh Rajput on Bigg Boss 17.
In June 2020, Sushant's body was found in his Mumbai residence. In December 2021, Ankita got married businessman Vicky Jain.
The contestants witness the family union of the Mahashettys as Arun Srikanth’s wife, Malak Mahashetty, and their daughter step into the house. The sight of this wife and daughter is enough to move Arun from his stupor and hug them both while breaking down. He introduces his daughter to all the housemates in his signature Hyderabadi slang. The little one brings a burst of cheer and innocence into the house by hugging everyone.
Munawar Faruqui’s sister entered the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house and the moment was very emotional.
After she entered, she went to meet Munawar, who was in the bathroom area and the two got very emotional, seeing which Abhishek Kumar too bursted out in tears.
Mannara, who was seen chatting with her sister Mitali Handa in the garden area, was seen joking about how others are meeting, getting emotional and how they greet each other with a smile.
Later, Munawar’s sister came out to meet other housemates and she ignored Ayesha Khan and greeted Mannara instead. Ayesha then went to meet Munwar’s sister, who in return formally met her.
Moments later Ayesha Khan’s brother stepped into the house and met his sister and suggested she stay away from Munawar and focus on her game.
As housemates' mother enter the house, we see Vicky's mother speak to Ankita about issues in the house. During a conversation between the two, we see Ankita telling her mother-in-law that she should not have spoken to her mother knowing that her father had only recently passed away.

Ankita also broke down in the promo when she asked her what mistake had she made that everyone in the house was questioning her. Kangana Ranaut wants her 'Manikarnika' co-star Ankita Lokhande to win the 'Bigg Boss 17' trophy. Talking to her Instagran stories, Kangana wrote a letter for Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law, sharing that the media is trying to break her family by creating a false story.
Kangana also added that she wanted Ankita to win.
Kangana shared a snippet from Vicky Jain's motehr's interview before entering the Bigg Boss house where she was talking about why bahu Ankita should lift the trophy.
