Background

New Delhi: One of the most anticipated movies to come out of Indian cinema is Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. The action-packed movie, which stars Prabhas and is directed by Prashanth Neel, is generating a lot of enthusiasm among viewers and fans, and everyone is excited to see it as the  film releases in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 22.

After the film was submitted to the Central Board of Certification (CBFC) and passed the Censor Board exam, the Censor Board granted the 2-hour and 55-minute film an "A" certificate.

At the box office, 'Salaar' and 'Dunki', starring Shah Rukh Khan, will face off. Both movies will have a challenging fight. However, the screening in two multiplexes in the south has apparently been canceled by the producers. According to reports, the makers of 'Salaar' have decided not to release their movie in some PVR-Inox and Miraj theatres. 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' makers announced on Wednesday that their movie will not be screened in PVR INOX and Miraj Cinemas, which are located in the southern region. The decision was taken because these cinema chains are favoring the Shah Rukh Khan-starring film 'Dunki' over the one starring Prabhas.

A Hombale Films spokesman stated that PVR INOX and Miraj Cinemas assured the banner of "equal showcasing" for both 'Salaar' and 'Dunki'.

In Hombale Films' 'Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire', Prabhas will appear alongside Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film revolves around two friends named Deva and Vardha, played by Prabhas and Prithviraj, who become fierce competitors and are set in the imaginary city of Khansaar.

Some social media users began to speculate that there might be a connection between the universes of 'Salaar' and 'KGF' after the release of the film's trailer. Neel stated that there was "no link" between the two film series, refuting the rumors.
