What Is A Working Title Of A Film?

A provisional title, known as a working title, is assigned to a manuscript, film, or TV series in its developmental phase. This title isn't permanent and may undergo several revisions until the final version is determined. As per media reports, the working title of Ramayana is 'God Power'.

'Ramayana' Team's Budget And Surveillance:

According to a report by News 18, "The producers didn’t want any glimpses of the film to come out before an official announcement and despite trying their best – including opting for a no-phone policy on set – shutterbugs managed to click pictures of Ranbir and Sai’s looks from the film. Curtains have been put all around and the surveillance has been tightened to avoid further leaks,” states the source, further revealing that the working title of Ramayana is ‘God Power’"

In addition, a recent report by Bollywood Hungama said that the budget of the film "is close to ₹835 crore"

"Ramayana is not just a film but an emotion and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a global spectacle. The USD 100 Million ( ₹835 crore) budget is just for Ramayana: Part One. He (Namit Malhotra) plans to expand this further as the franchise grows. The idea is to take the audience on a visual treat with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram," Bollywood Hungama wrote.

"In INR terms, the budget of Ramayana is close to ₹835 crore. The film requires 600 days of post-production work, which in itself speaks volumes about the investment required to create some of the most original visuals on the spectacle. The idea is to take Indian Cinema at a global level," the report added.

Ranbir In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love And War'

Amid shooting for Ramayana, Ranbir will also be prepping up for 'Love and War' later this year.

While Alia will get busy with filming YRF’s upcoming spy thriller with Sharvari Wagh, Ranbir will dive into script reading sessions and discussions with Bhansali before beginning its shoot. Bhansali, in fact, will begin Love And War with him as the latter may reach the conclusion of the shoot of the first part of the Ramayana trilogy by November.
