As 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' approaches its finale, the final mid-week elimination has happened with Jiya Shankar being ousted of the house. T
his leaves the Bigg Boss house with 5 contestants and finalists. In the latest episode, Bigg Boss gave a claender to contestants to see who were the top five finalists of the show. Elvish Yadav, Jiya Shankar and Manisha Rani were nominated this week and the calender's last page had the image of the person who got the least number of votes. Abhishek Malhan pulled the calender sheet and revealed Jiya's picture as the eliminated contestant. Pooja Bhatt and Abhishek are already contestants on the show.
Contestants Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan have emerged as the biggest fan favourites, with online polls going on, leaving it to the public, who will be the BOSS between these two.
Every contestant gaining access to the ‘Ticket to the Finale’ was part of their own ‘Systum’ be it Abhishek, Elvish, or Jad Hadid, Bebika Dhruve or Avinash Sachdev. But their systems got broken, and only Elvish and Abhishek are now the finalists.
Both the contestants won the hearts of audiences due to their grounded and respectful, but tough attitude, zeal to win, not talking smack, obeying the rules and displaying all the attributes which determines who will be the winner in ‘Big Boss’.
Regardless of who will emerge victorious on the end of the line, both have been given the title of ‘BOSS’ with the Janta, and they are heavily divided as camps are split into ‘ElvishTheBoss’ and ‘AbhishekTheBoss’ on social media.
If online polls were the only thing to determine the victor, it would seem the show would be unlikely to end as they were the two contestants to garner the least amount of hate. People have gone on to comment that these two contestants may have just broken the whole ‘Systum’ and maybe there is an entirely new system coming to place.
Abhishek and Elvish did not just audiences but even their fellow contestants as Pooja Bhatt and Jiya Shankar had also praise them early on respectively, with Pooja Bhatt calling Abhishek a ‘strong and determined individual’ while Jiya had called Elvish a ‘grounded, passionate, strong willed person’.

Travel vlogger and photographer Anunay Sood will be seen in the 'Bigg Boss' house today. Jio Cinema shared the official promo featuring the guest on their official Instagram handle. In the clip, we see Anunay make an entrance and greet everyone.
When Anunay tells the meaning of his name to Pooja Bhatt, she observes that both their names mean the same thing: to pray.
Anunay also greeted Elvish Yadav in a warm manner asking him if he missed vlogging to which the latter replied in affirmative.
As per reports, 'Bigg Boss Season 8' constestant Gautam Gulati might make an entrance in the current season of 'Bigg Boss OTT 2'. Now, Gautam took to his official Instagram story to share the news, "Got a call to enter #BBOTT. I am away for work but I might plan if I can, not sure. But still let me know kya chal Raha hai aur kisse kya kaha jaye - If I will be joining them."
Gautam is currently in London on work commitments.
Pooja Bhatt spoke about her transition from acting to production in a conversation wuth Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani and Bebika Dhurve. Reflecting on her career treajectory, she shared that she had grown tired of acting and thus became more comfortabe behind the camera. Later on, she realized that production was her forte.
Talking about her acting career, she said, “At a certain point in my career, I felt the desire to escape to a place where anonymity prevailed. However, a renowned and wise actor reminded me that I had dedicated considerable effort to achieving fame, questioning why I would now wish to distance myself from it.”
“While I had bid farewell to acting, the opportunity to play lead part in ‘Bombay Begums’ after 21 years brought about a transformation in my entire career trajectory. The show garnered substantial praise from both critics and the general audience, showering me with profound affection”, she added during the same.
Former Bigg Boss OTT contestant Uorfi Javed made an appearance on a recent episode. Pooja Bhatt labelled her a legend for her sense of style and lauded her attitude. Upon entering the house, Uorfi greeted each contender. Pooja Bhatt praised Uorfi and stated, “You are a legend. I love your audacity, I love your originality. It is so weird that in the last 2 months I’ve thought about you so many times, why were you not in this season."
“Main Batati Hoon aapko meri thought kyu aaya, because of the recycled theme," Uorfi replied.
