With a total collection of 16.18 Cr. to date, the film has firmly established itself as a must-watch.
Prithviraj Sukumaran was surprised during a fan gathering when fellow actor Fahadh Faasil sent him a video message. After seeing Prithviraj's recently released film 'Aadujeevitham', Fahadh couldn't help but praise him. He can be heard saying in the video, “If there's anyone who can be Najeeb, it's you, brother! I love you for that. Because of you, it feels like my own. I’m as excited as I am right before my own release. It’s truly because of you, my brother; I can’t wait to watch the film.”
The survival drama "The Goat Life," starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in worldwide gross collections, as announced by the film's makers on Sunday.
Directed by Blessy, the Malayalam film depicts the true story of Najeeb (portrayed by Sukumaran), a Malayali immigrant laborer who becomes ensnared in slavery as a goatherd on a remote farm in Saudi Arabia. Adapted from the 2008 bestselling novel "Aadujeevitham" by Benyamin, the film hit theaters on Friday.
Sukumaran, who is also distributing the film in Malayalam through Prithviraj Productions, shared the box office update on his official X page, expressing gratitude to the audience for their support. The post included a poster highlighting the achievement of Rs 50 crore in worldwide gross collections.
Produced by Visual Romance, "The Goat Life" also stars Amala Paul, K.R. Gokul, alongside Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis and Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby in significant roles. The film boasts music by Academy Award winner A R Rahman and sound design by Resul Pookutty.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday shared a glimpse of how his meet and greet looked.
Amitabh took to X (formerly called Twitter) and shared a picture from his home in Mumbai, where every Sunday his fans would come to catch a glimpse of the cine-icon.
In the image, the star’s back is towards the camera as a swarm of fans are seen standing outside the gate of his home, Jalsa, just to see their icon.
Amitabh is seen dressed in a kurta pyjama with a shawl wrapped around him and is waving towards his fans.
For the caption, he wrote: “Jalsa ka dwar”.

Actor Nani is set to reteam with his "Dasara" director Srikanth Odela for his 33rd feature film.
The "Jersey" star made the announcement on the first-year release anniversary of "Dasara" on Saturday.
"Dasara turns one year today. On this occasion .. #Nani33. A Srikanth Odela MADNESS again," Nani wrote on X.
The tagline of the upcoming pan-India film reads: "You don't need an identity to be a leader". It will be produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, who also backed "Dasara".
The project is expected to be released in 2025.
Nani, who was last seen in "Hi Nanna", is currently filming for his next movie "Saripodhaa Sanivaaram", directed by Vivek Athreya. The actor also has another film with Sujeeth in the works.

The filmmaker wrote: “Rashmika has dubbed for the teaser in all five languages. She pulled off dubbing in Malayalam too! A language she’s not worked in yet. This won’t be the case with the film… but for the teaser all five languages."
The teaser of the film will be released on Rashmika's birthday on April 5.
