Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal welcomed their first daughter in June, and on Wednesday, during his appearance on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 16', Varun revealed her name. Singing a lullaby he composed for his daughter, he finally shared that they named her Lara.

Varun appeared on the show with filmmakers Raj and DK to promote their upcoming Prime Video series 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'. During the episode, Varun also asked Amitabh Bachchan for some parenting advice.

In the Diwali special episode, Amitabh mentioned how this Diwali is particularly memorable for the Dhawans with the arrival of their baby girl. He said, “This Diwali is very special for you, Varun, as Lakshmi ji has arrived at your home.” Varun gratefully folded his hands and thanked Big B for his kind words.

Varun also asked Amitabh if parental duties kept him up at night when his children, Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan, were young. Bachchan responded, “I’ll tell you one thing, just keep your wife happy…If she is happy, everything will go well in life. This is a single formula — Wife is supreme.”

Earlier this year, Varun celebrated Father’s Day with a heartfelt message for his daughter: “Happy Father’s Day. My father taught me that the best way to celebrate this day is by going out there and working for your family so I’ll be doing just that. Couldn’t be happier to be a girl dad.”
