As early trends showed Congress leading in Telangana, which has been ruled by the BRS ever since the state was formed in 2014, celebrations broke out at the party office in Hyderabad. Congress supporters were seen celebrating and distributing sweets while chanting "Bye, Bye KCR".  The K Chandrasekhar Rao-led Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) has dominated Telangana politics for a decade and has been at the helm since 2014, when Telangana was granted statehood. The BRS also won the 2018
