In Greater Chennai region, while DMK –led alliance is expected 11 to 13 seats, the ruling AIADMK coalition can get 3 to 5 seats.
The survey data projects that DMK and its alliance partners are expected to win 32 to 34 seats in Chola Nadu in Kaveri Basin while AIADMK - led coalition is likely to get 7 to 9 seats here
According to the data Collected by ABP-CVoter survey, the vote share of DMK and alliance partners will witness a jump of 7.9% from 38.8% in 2016 to 46.7% in 2021, while the vote share of AIADMK – led coalition will plummet by 8.7% from 43.7% in 2016 to 35% in 2021. Other outfits will continue to remain marginal political players in the state.
The survey data shows that a combination of 10 year anti-incumbency and absence of a charismatic successor to J Jayalalitha is expected to lead to electoral setback for the ruling AIADMK
The ABP-CVoter Exit Polls have also revealed that Stalin's DMK is the first choice for people in Tamil Nadu as the party is likely to get a 46.7% vote share. The ruling AIADMK is witnessing a massive dip in vote share with just 35%.
AINRC, BJP, and ADMK's alliance is predicted to bag 47.1 per cent vote share this time. As per the data, the coalation has seen a gain of 16.6% as compared to the last Puducherry assembly polls.
As per the ABP-CVoter Exit Poll, V Narayanasamy-led Congress alliance with DMK is noticing a negative vote swing by 5.3% as compared to the 2016 Assembly Polls. While the AINRC, BJP, and ADMK's alliance has seen a gain of 16.6% as compared to the last Puducherry assembly polls.

The Election Commission in a notice earlier prohibited print or electronic media from publishing or publicising the result of exit polls. As per the poll body, exit polls can be published at 7.30 pm, an hour after polls close.
The magic figure is 118, the minimum seats required for a party or a coalition to stake claim for the government formation.
AINRC chief N Rangaswamy has been announced as the NDA’s chief ministerial candidate. The AINRC founder contested from two segments-Thattanchavady and Yanam. The AIADMK convenors A. Anbalagan and Om Sakthi Segar are also in the fray from Uppalam and Orleanpet segments respectively.
In Puducherry, the BJP has contested the polls in alliance with the AIADMK and AINRC. The AINRC, which heads the NDA here, contested from 16 of the total 30 constituencies, BJP fought from 9 seats and the AIADMK from 5.
