Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday described AAP as 'Aawaidh Aamdaniwali Party', and alleged that it did nothing but spread lies to get votes and indulged in corruption in its 10-year rule in Delhi under Arvind Kejriwal's leadership. He further urged the people to evict the AAP from power and vowed to make the national capital free from illegal Bangladeshi immigrants and Rohingyas if BJP won the Delhi elections.

Addressing a public meeting in the Narela Assembly constituency, Shah promised that the BJP will fulfil all its poll promises and make Delhi world's number one capital. He further accused the AAP government of sheltering illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas with the district administration's help.

"Kejriwal only told lies to get votes... AAP means 'Awaidh Aamdaniwali Party' (party which makes illegal income)," Shah said while campaigning for BJP candidate from Narela, Raj Karan Khatri.

"The entire Delhi is today struggling with supply of dirty water and waterlogging. The schools have been finished. There aren't adequate facilities in the hospitals," he alleged.

'BJP Will Free Delhi From Rohingyas Within 2 Years'

Shah lashed out at AAP pointing out that the governance in Delhi worsened over the past decade under Kejriwal's rule, while BJP-led states witnessed progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Asserting that PM Modi always does what he says, Shah remarked the country has "blessed" him by reposing faith in him and making him the PM for the third consecutive term.

"Bless him once in Delhi too. Delhi will become the number one capital in the world… Make Khatri sahab (BJP candidate from Narela) victorious. The time has come for them (AAP) to go," Shah appealed.

"I promise you that you make the BJP win, and within two years we will free Delhi from illegal Bangladeshi immigrants and Rohingiyas," he further said, as he alleged AAP's involvement in "scams" worth crores of rupees when it ruled the city.

"The (former) education minister (Manish Sisodia) opened liquor shops near schools, temples and gurdwaras to spoil the younger generation, besides indulging in corruption worth crores of rupees. But at the end, both 'Bade Miya' (Kejriwal) and 'Chote Miya' (Sisodia) were put in jail," the Home Minister said.

AAP's Misgovernance Will End On Feb 8, Says Shah

He went on to accuse AAP leaders of not just indulging in the alleged liquor scam, but also committing "scams" worth crores of rupees involving ration distribution, Delhi Jal Board, construction of classrooms in schools, and purchase of DTC bus.

Continuing attacks over 'Sheesh Mahal', SHah asked the gathering: "Do any of you have designer marvel worth Rs 6 crore at your house, or motorised curtains worth Rs 4-6 crore, or doors worth Rs 70 lakh which opens when you clap? "Do you have house carpet worth Rs 50 lakh, water system installed for Rs 15 crore, recliner sofa worth Rs 10 lakh? All these things were there in (Kejriwal's) 'Sheesh Mahal'."

He then said that AAP’s "misgovernance" will end on February 8 as he claimed the BJP will come to power. "Kejriwal, your government is on its way out soon and the BJP is coming to the helm," Shah said.

Voting for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held on February 5, and the results will be announced on February 8.
