"Unemployment has increased so much in 45 years but they are not worried about it... If we talk about unemployment, they say that Congress will make one buffalo out of two disappear. If we say that inflation has increased, do something, they say that we will snatch your land. On the increasing gap between the rich and the poor, they say that if Congress comes, it will loot everything."

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Sunday, told ANI: "What do you expect from these family parties? They are limited only to their own families. Be it Congress, National Conference or Samajwadi Party, they have no national agenda but their family is their agenda... On one hand, this alliance insults national heroes and on the other hand, it encourages mafia and terrorist elements."
"Just a few days ago, when a notorious mafia died, the national president of the Samajwadi Party went to express condolences on his death, but how was their behaviour with Ram bhakts when the Ram Janmabhoomi movement was going on?... The insulting and contemptuous behaviour of Samajwadi Party leaders with the statue of national leader Maharana Pratap yesterday is condemnable," he said.
"Rahul Gandhi did the same in Maharashtra, where one of his supporters was giving him the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji but he refused to take it. They will not honour the national leader but will glorify terrorists and Pakistan," he added further.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has no fire while his party is playing with fire by attempting to create Hindu-Muslim divide for electoral dividends, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said.
In an interview to PTI, Singh also indicated that the BJP will implement its big-ticket plans like rolling out of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and implementing the 'One Nation One Election' push if it retains power for the third consecutive term.
The defence minister also said that he was confident that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will cross 400 seats and the BJP will get over 370 as these projections were made after detailed assessment of the ground situation and not made only for public consumption.

His remarks came days after Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Maria Alam, the niece of senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid, called for "vote jihad" in favour of Naval Kishore Shakya, the INDIA bloc candidate from Farrukhabad Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh.
