Congress released another list of five candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.
"The love I have received here, I hope it remains. When I see in the people's eyes, it seems that they are seeking change. I will try that most of the people from here, work here only...It was heartening for me to see the positive involvement of youth in politics, they definitely want a change and they are looking for someone who can work for them," TMC candidate and former cricketer Yusuf Pathan told ANI.
"I have said repeatedly that in Bihar result (Lok Sabha elections) will be 'surprising.' In Mahagathbandhan, there are three left parties, RJD and Congress; seat-sharing is also done. On the other side, many people didn't get the space and they left, so comparatively our Mahagathbandhan is strong," RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav told ANI.
West Bengal Leader of Opposition and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari joined the Padayatra for campaign in support of BJP candidate from Basirhat, Rekha Patra.
Congress will stage a nationwide protest on the Income Tax notice to the party. Congress General Secretary organisation KC Venugopal directed all the state units to protest at PCC headquarters and at district Congress Committee headquarters on the issue on Saturday.
Opposition got permission from the Election Commission and police for the I.N.D.I.A bloc rally to be organised at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on March 31 against the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, ANI reported citing AAP sources.
The Congress party is likely to release its manifesto on April 5 for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, reported ANI quoting party sources as saying.

Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chief Prakash Ambedkar is preparing to form a third front in Maharashtra to contest against the National Democratic Alliance and the Maha Vikas Aghadi. The development comes days after Ambedkar parted ways with the MVA over seat sharing.
The VBA chief is already in talks with Maratha activist Manoj Jarange Patil and had earlier said that a meeting between the two had been "positive". Former Maharashtra Navnirman Sena MLA Vasant More who left the party also met Ambedkar today, as per ABP News sources.

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami says, "The campaign is going very well for us. People are supporting us everywhere we go and the coalition leaders are doing well. AIADMK alliance will win 40 constituencies. There is an AIADMK wave in Tamil Nadu. We have come out of the BJP alliance."
"But Chief Minister Stalin and Udhayanidhi Stalin are spreading slander that we are in an illegal alliance with BJP. I didn't know why they talked like this. I think they talk like this out of fear of election defeat. AIADMK is not a party like DMK. AIADMK will follow the alliance dharma. We will be loyal to the parties that join our coalition," he added.
The Janata Dal (Secular) announces its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Party leader HD Kumaraswamy will enter the fray from Mandya Lok Sabha seat while M Mallesh Babu has been fielded from Kolar and Prajwal Revanna will contest from Hassan seat.
"Going by the enthusiasm among the people in the 5 constituencies, it can be said that we will win in all constituencies by a margin of 2.5-3 lakh votes," said Assam BJP MLA Hemanga Thakuria.
"For the first time, 40,000-50,000 people are gathering during the filing of nomination. People are stepping out to make BJP's allies...In 2nd and 3rd phase, on the remaining 9 constituencies too where our allies are contesting we will win by a margin of 2.5-3 lakh votes. That is our ground report...Our alliance can win 14 seats," he added.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA Akhtarul Iman says, "We have sympathy with the widow of late Shahabuddin. If she chooses to contest the polls as an Independent candidate, the party will provide her with all support"

The Congress will release its manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 6 in Jaipur, the party's Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said.
The Congress leader said that party president Mallikarjun Kharge and party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will release the poll manifesto during a public meeting in the Rajasthan capital.
Mallikarjun Kharge last week said that the draft manifesto carries the five 'guarantees' for justice which include: 'Bhagidari Nyay', 'Kisan Nyay', 'Nari Nyay', 'Shramik Nyay' and 'Yuva Nyay', listing five guarantees for each 'nyay'.
These five points have already been announced by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi.
Meanwhile, the BJP will contest 13 of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand while its ally AJSU party will field its candidate from Giridih parliamentary constituency, BJP national general secretary Arun Kumar announced.
"It has been decided that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will field its candidates in 13 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand and AJSU party on one parliamentary seat, Giridih, in the interest of the people of the state," Kumar said in a post on X.
The BJP also released its list of star campaigners for the Lok Sabha polls in Rajasthan. The list of 40 names includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 10 Union ministers, and the chief ministers of five states.
The Union ministers who would be campaigning in the desert state include Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Bhupendra Yadav, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Kailash Choudhary.
The chief ministers of five states, including Rajasthan's Bhajanlal Sharma, will also campaign in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates.
The names of Jhalawar MLA and former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje and former MLAs Rajendra Rathore and Satish Poonia also feature in the list.
Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases across the country from April 19 to June 1. Results will be declared on June 3.
