RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav launched an attack at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the Special Intensive Revision of voters' list in the state. "On the instructions of Nitish Kumar, attempt has been made to disenfranchise poor voters... It is a conspiracy. Congress Vows To Drag EC To Supreme Court Over Voter Roll Revision

Congress leader Pramod Tiwari says the party will move the Supreme Court over Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar. "Congress and INDIA bloc opposes the violation of common man's rights... Over 88% of Bihar's population goes out of the state to do labor... A homeless person might find his own identity proof, but how can they find their ancestors'... We will fight this up to the Supreme Court," Tiwari says.

"The Election Commission has been completely expose now... Is this a directive or order of murder of democracy?" he questions.

Oppn Party Leaders Stage Sit-In Protest In Purnia — 'BJP Fears Losing Power'

The leaders from the opposition parties are staging a sit-in protest in Purnia against the ongoing voter list verification. RJD's Purnia President Mithilesh Das says the BJP fears losing power in the upcoming elections, "so in collusion with the Election Commission of India (ECI), a conspiracy has been hatched to deprive voters from the lower sections of society of their right to vote."
