Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that the BRS government in Telangana had "defrauded" Dalits, backward classes, tribals, minorities and the poor, and claimed that it will have to pay heavily in the assembly polls, PTI reported.
"BJP is trying to fool the people of Chhattisgarh. It is because of CM Bhupesh Baghel that BJP has come to its knees and is at least making poll promises," Congress leader Radhika Khera told PTI on BJP's Chhattisgarh manifesto.
BJP president JP Nadda claimed Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel were "collectors" who raise money from their states and hand it over to "Delhi Darbar", an apparent reference to the Congress' high command, PTI reported.
Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge told ANI, "...People want to make us win by voting for Congress because we have fulfilled our promises. Congress is in the hearts of the people, Congress will win here...Through ED, they (BJP) want to frighten opposition leaders and demoralise them."
"Almost 97 per cent of mobile phones are being manufactured in India. Apple phones are also being manufactured here... In automobile manufacturing, India is the third biggest market. In medicines, India has become the dispensary for the world. Cheap and most effective medicines are being manufactured in India and supplied to the world," ANI quoted BJP President JP Nadda as saying at a rally in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said the BJP should be taught a lesson in the upcoming polls, as it has not sanctioned even a single medical college or Navodaya schools to the state. "We have been asking the Centre to set up Navodaya Schools in each and every district. Not even one was sanctioned. They did not even give a single medical college to the state. There is a need to teach them a lesson otherwise, they will ride on us," he said.
AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi said his party will put up candidates in nine constituencies for the Telangana assembly polls. He said, in addition to the existing seven seats his party represents in the outgoing assembly, AIMIM will field candidates in Rajendranagar and Jubilee Hills.
Former Congress MP Guddu leaves the party after not being given a ticket in Madhya Pradesh. He will now contest as an independent candidate.
While addressing "Vijay Sankalp Maharally', Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Chhattisgarh: says, "...When you all go to vote, do not vote to elect an MLA or make an MLA a minister...Your vote shapes the future of Chhattisgarh...Your vote is to end Naxalism and make the Adivasi region a developed region..."
BJP chief JP Nadda has said that in Congress's time, people got coal scam, commonwealth and 2G scam.
Speaking in MP's Rewa, he said, "...On one side is the Congress party, the government of scams, and on the other side, India is growing under the leadership of PM Modi... I want to say that under the leadership of PM Modi, 13.50 crore people have come out of the poverty line... I am not saying this, the International Monetary Fund is saying that in India, extreme poverty is now less than 1%..."
Madhya Pradesh Elections: BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad says, "...I had gone to Chhindwara yesterday... Kamal Nath Ji is in trouble in Chhindwara. It would not be a surprise if he loses there...There is a campaign of desperation there, as per my observation..."
Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasara filed his nomination from Lachhmangarh for the upcoming Assembly election in the state.
Telangana Elections: On Congress party's six guarantees, Telangana Minister & BRS leader KT Rama Rao says, "Who will talk about the guarantees of a party which does not have its own guarantee, where 11 people are candidates to the CM post and where there is no guarantee that who will become the CM or fulfill promises, a party whose warranty has expired. In Karnataka, DK Shivakumar & Siddaramaiah are fighting for the CM post to this day. Congress party gives a guarantee of just one thing - chaos. If you vote for Congress, chaos is guaranteed, changing the CM in 6 months is guaranteed, power crisis is guaranteed and failure of communal harmony is guaranteed..."
Telangana Elections: President of YSR Telangana Party, YS Sharmila Reddy has said that her party is supporting the Congress party in upcoming state assembly polls, adding that YSRTP will not contest this election.
The Election Commission of India has issued a notification for the Telangana Assembly polls to be held on November 30.
Telangana Minister and BRS leader KT Rama Rao says, "Rahul Gandhi's entire district (public) meetings do not have even that many people coming to it as many as the number of people coming to our constituency (public) meetings. Secondly, Congress is a party that people have watched and tested very closely. People have thrown them out after thinking it through. So, I don't think Congress has any hopes here. I don't think anyone in Telangana will trust Congress again."
"In the first (assembly) election in 2014, after the formation of the state, we won 63 seats out of 119. Because of good governance, we won 88 seats the next time. This time, I am supremely confident that we will win over 88 seats, hopefully, that could be anywhere between 90 to 100. We will win handsomely, that's what my belief is," he said.
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan speaks on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar blaming Congress for I.N.D.I.A coalition losing steam: "The INDI alliance is already broken. (Bihar CM) Nitish Kumar has also said that the Congress is not worried about other parties."

Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) has released its fourth list of six candidates for ensuing the general elections to legislative assembly of Rajasthan.
A total of 7,671 people have voted in the Mizoram assembly elections through home voting and postal ballot facilities, an election official said on Thursday, reported PTI.
On the Rajashtan BJP candidate list, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, as quoted by ANI said, "Around 18 tickets are yet to be given. The names will be announced soon...Rajkumar Kiradoo left Congress and joined the BJP today and extended support to our Bikaner West candidate. These are some incidents that give a party a milestone...He (Rajkumar Kiradoo) is a big leader and it will strengthen BJP..."
"There is no point of anti-incumbency in Telangana as CM K Chandrashekar Rao has worked for the people of the state. Our government brought 24-hour supply of electricity to households and solved water shortage issues," state minister Ajay Kumar Puvvada told PTI.
BJP released a list of 40-star campaigners for the upcoming Rajasthan elections.
"We have decided to provide employment to a member of every family for their prosperity. We will not let any family be deprived of employment opportunity," Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Chouhan said at a rally in Prithvipur assembly constituency.

BJP leader and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that Congress was contemplating removing CM Bhupesh Baghel's name from all campaign material. Sarma, who landed in Chhatisgarh's Raipur on Thursday, said: "As per the information I have, Congress has decided that Bhupesh Baghel's name should be removed from banners and posters. This has started in the last 10 days. I was in Congress for 22 years. So, I get internal information about the party. After the elections, Congress will remove Baghel from the leadership post either immediately or gradually."
Sadhvi Anadi Saraswati has quit the BJP and joined the Congress in Jaipur, Rajasthan. CM Ashok Gehlot and Rajasthan Congress In Charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa welcomed her into the party. She could contest the Ajmer North seat.
Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel says, "I request that the Election Commission should check vehicles belonging to CRPF also. BJP has accepted defeat BJP, and is getting boxes filled with cash to be used for influencing the voters. This is a serious matter. Congress will file a complaint in this manner. What's the need to bring more companies of CRPF when there is enough CRPF presence in the state?"
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's jibe at the BJP over its promise to make a backward caste candidate as chief minister of Telangana was arrogant and amounted to insulting them, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has said.
Taunting the BJP's slogan of making a backward caste leader CM is not just a criticism of the party but an insult to the aspirations of backward classes who earn their livelihood with hard work, he said. If Congress "continues to insult backward sections" in Telangana like this, it will be confined to four seats in the coming elections, he said.
Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along, "I think we need to work harder and engage with them because the perception that they have about the BJP is not the right perception. BJP is a political party that is nationalistic in every way, visionary with leaders like PM Modi, Amit Shah and JP Nadda...I believe that Mizoram is yet to understand it."
He also said, "There can be no prediction on elections. The campaign led by our Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Nagaland Deputy CM Yanthungo Patton and also Rituraj Sinha (national secretary) - all of them, together with our friends from the neighbourhood, especially Tripura, have been working very hard on the ground...So, I think we will score better than before."
Speaking over the ticket protest Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath says that they have held a discussion with the members and he is sure that "they will support us".
"We have held discussions with all of them and I am confident that they will support Congress. A lot of them will take back their nominations."
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi while making an address at Mahila Sadassu in Ambatpally Village said, "You know that there is election in Telangana and the contest is between 'Dorala' Telangana and the public. This place has the biggest symbol of 'Dorala' Telangana, I wanted to see this with my own eyes. Rs 1 Lakh Crore was stolen from the people of Telangana here. Nobody here benefitted from it. Our workers are right that Kaleshwaram is BRS's ATM but change it to 'Kaleshwaram is KCR's ATM, it is his family's ATM..."
He also added that if Congress is voted to power in the state, women can benefit up to Rs 4,000 every month.

The Assembly polls in the five states will be held between November 7 and November 30. Mizoram will go to polls on November 7, Madhya Pradesh on November 17, Rajasthan on November 25, and Telangana on November 30 while Chhattisgarh will vote in two phases on November 7 and November 17.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver a crucial election rally in Chhattisgarh, which is currently under Congress rule. This event marks his first public appearance in the state since the announcement of the election schedule.
The PM's rally will take place in Kanker district, an area significantly affected by Naxalite insurgencies. Kanker is one of the districts that will go to the polls in the first phase of the two-phased elections in the state, as revealed by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) official speaking to the news agency PTI.
Prime Minister Modi is expected to arrive at the Raipur airport at 12.55 pm on Thursday, flying in on an Indian Air Force aircraft before departing for Kanker via helicopter. The rally is scheduled to commence at 3 pm in Kanker town.
The local authorities have implemented a comprehensive security arrangement at the rally venue to ensure the safety of attendees. A multi-layered security cordon has been established, involving personnel from the state police, paramilitary forces, and the Special Protection Group (SPG). The district is situated approximately 150 kilometers north of the state capital, Raipur, in the Bastar region.
Simultaneously, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be actively campaigning in Rajnandgaon and Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki districts of Chhattisgarh on Thursday.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which had held power in Chhattisgarh for 15 years under the leadership of Raman Singh from 2003 to 2018, experienced a substantial setback in the 2018 assembly elections when the Congress party emerged victorious. Presently, the BJP is striving to regain control of the state in these upcoming elections.
Chhattisgarh's 90-member state assembly will witness voting in two phases on November 7 and 17. The first phase will encompass twenty constituencies situated in seven districts of the Maoist-affected Bastar division, along with Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Kabirdham, and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai districts. The remaining 70 constituencies will go to the polls in the second phase. The results of the elections will be tabulated and announced on December 3.
