"51,890 polling parties have reached their destination along with sector officers. Around 1 lakh 71 thousand police forces have been deployed. Webcasting is also being done at more than 26,000 polling stations...Apart from sector officers, area magistrates, police patrolling parties, the Quick Response Team and striking teams will be present. Polling parties have reached with the EVM machines. At 5:30 am in the morning, mock poll will be done," Chief Election Officer Praveen Gupta told ANI.
"It is a very important election. It is a big fight against injustice. We have to fight. The entire Hyderabad is in the hands of the land mafia, sand mafia and mine mafia," Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said ahead of the Telangana elections.
"Everything will be clear on 3rd December. But wherever I had a discussion and whatever feedback I received, going by that I feel that the BJP will register its biggest victory till date," Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.
"BRS government is the government of the biggest liars and corrupt. It was TRS earlier. The actual branding is that of KCR. They may rebrand but everyone knows how they have looted and destroyed the state...Now, those who loot will go to jail and action will be taken against them," Union Minister and BJP leader Meenakashi Lekhi told ANI.
"They (BJP) were trying to topple our government. It is a sin to topple an elected government. The public will take revenge for this. There is an undercurrent in favour of Congress," Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot told ANI.
"Even after hard work, employment is not provided, even after papers, jobs are not there, papers get leaked and corruption occur in it. What could a youth expect?... The government in the state is destroying your future. The way your papers are getting leaked these days, we want to roll out a job calendar to solve the issue. We will provide you 2 lakh jobs, the way we got it in Rajasthan and under the job calendar, it will get fixed that when your exam is held, when the results will get out and when the notice for the paper is going to be released. Students will get aid of Rs 5 lakh and in every district, we want to make international level schools," Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said at an election rally in Telangana.
"KCR has not fulfilled any promises he made. He hasn't done any work barring one, that is corruption of thousands of crores for KTR," says Union Home minister Amit Shah while addressing an election rally in Armoor city of Nizamabad district, Telangana.
Tonk, Rajasthan: Congress leader Sachin Pilot says, "If one strives to be a 'laadla' it should be of the public. It doesn't require any other minister to be a 'laadla', it's all about sacrifice, service and building relations with the public...A lot has been said and a lot has been alleged but I tried not to lose my patience and always tried to use decent language in front of the public...Nobody needs to be concerned about me, my party and the public will take care of me..."
Tonk, Rajasthan: Congress leader Sachin Pilot says, "I believe that democracy has become mature in India and voters have become aware...The public has become so aware that now everybody trusts their judgement. Tomorrow, voting will take place in Rajasthan. This election is very important and interesting...People like the way Congress works and after numerous efforts by BJP, their election campaign didn't work out well"
BRS MLC K Kavitha said, "They (Congress) will promise you heaven and earth but it ultimately won't matter. People of Telangana know that whatever is Congress promising today, they can't live up to it and the best example is our neighbouring state - Karnataka. They offered everything to people and they miserably failed."

Even if the concern is about reservation, it's dependent on the financial status of people. We always give recommendations for reservation on the basis of the financial status of people. So, both parties (Congress and BJP) are trying to polarise people by picking unnecessary issues. They can't make impossible promises and betray people as they have come to know the tendencies of both parties...Why doesn't Congress give pension in Rajasthan and make promises about it here..."

Elections in five states are drawing to a close with nearly ten days remaining and only two more states left to vote: Rajasthan on November 25 and Telangana on November 30. The polls to the 230-member Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly were held on Friday, along with the second phase of polling in Chhattisgarh for the remaining 70 seats.
Election Commission of India on Thursday issued a show cause notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his 'panauti' (unlucky), 'pickpocket' and 'loan-waiver' remarks targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The EC said the remarks were in violation of the Model Code of Conduct. Gandhi made the remarks addressing a rally in poll-bound Rajasthan.
The ECI said it received a complaint from the BJP against Rahul Gandhi, who made the remarks against PM Modi at a rally in Rajasthan’s Barmer.
The Congress leader has been asked to appear before the poll panel on November 25.
Reacting to the EC action, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Rahul Gandhi has become a "national problem".
Addressing an election meeting at Bagidora in poll-bound Rajasthan's Banswara, Chouhan attacked the Congress government in Rajasthan over a range of issues, including corruption, paper leaks and crime against women.
Meanwhile, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, addressing a rally in Rajasthan, said the people will not fall for the alleged "lies, deception and hateful words" of PM Modi and have decided to change the revolving door tradition of the state.
In a post in Hindi on X, Kharge said Rajasthan, the holy land of heroes and warriors, has accepted the Congress' public welfare schemes.
The results of the elections will be declared on Dec 3.
