"My suggestion is to wait for a few hours as the results will be declared tomorrow, and they will be in favour of the Congress," says Congress leader Nakul Nath ahead of tomorrow's vote counting, PTI reported.
Balod District Magistrate Kuldeep Sharma informed that after the counting of votes is completed, slips from five random VVPAT machines will also be counted in each assembly constituency, PTI reported.
MP Congress took to X and posted: "Rigging before counting of votes in Ujjain. The seal of the postal ballot box has been found broken in the Kothi Palace, Strong Room of Ujjain. The Congress candidate and his representatives also showed the broken ballot paper seals to the Collector and the officers present and lodged an objection. How long will the Election Commission remain silent?"

On security preparation at the counting centre, Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra says, "Keeping in mind the special arrangements for tomorrow, the police force is deployed. The teams will evaluate the situation concerning the security arrangements tomorrow. The traffic will be diverted on the main road tomorrow...Security arrangements are ensured outside the counting centres...Around 80 CCTVs are there on the campus." (ANI)
Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Saturday expressed confidence that the BJP will get a majority in Rajasthan, where assembly elections were held last week.The counting of votes across all districts of the state will begin at 8 am on Sunday. The wait of the people ends tomorrow (Sunday) when they will get relief from the government of 'loot', he said.He also thanked the people who voted for the BJP. Elections to 199 seats of the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly were held on November 25.

Mizoram: Chief Electoral Officer Mizoram election Madhup Vyas says, "In Mizoram, we got 80.66% polling, on the day of poll through EVMs. It was marginally higher than the previous 2018 elections. In the 2018 elections, it was 80.03%, so marginal increase. We will have the counting at 8 am (Dec 4) and hopefully, it will be complete before lunch."

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala on Friday claimed that his party will win more than 135 out of the 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. According to PTI, he said majority of surveys are predicting a landslide victory for the Congress, said Surjewala, the party's general secretary in charge of Madhya Pradesh.
"The sun that will rise on December 3 will end the misrule of the BJP that is going on for 18 years and the Congress will win more than 135 seats to fulfill the promises made to the people of the state," the Congress leader said.
News agency ANI reported that Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge is in contact with senior leaders of the party of states that went to polls. He spoke with them over the phone.
Kharge has directed all incharges and observers of the election states to remain in the state of which they have been given responsibility. ANI stated that the Congress they have been told to keep an eye on the counting of votes. Karnataka Dy CM DK Shivakumar will reach Hyderabad (Telangana) today. Randeep Surjewala is in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
"No party will have a majority in the 2023 elections, whether it's BJP, BRS, or Congress. Speaking specifically about BJP, we can observe an increase in the number of seats for the party, and our survey indicates that we will win up to 14 seats," says BJP leader T Raja Singh on exit polls in Telangana.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Election Officer Anupam Rajan says: "77.15 per cent polling took place in EVMs and adding postal ballots to it, the voter turnout (for MP Assembly polls) stands at 77.82 per cent. The voter turnout in the previous Assembly polls was 75.63 per cent. So, it is an increase of 2.19 per cent."
Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Brar says: "Exit polls analysis shows that Congress will be forming government in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Telangana. It indicates that people have understood that Congress can only bring progress in the country."
Weighing on the exit poll results, Rajasthan BJP President CP Joshi said BJP would form the government in the desert state by winning 135 seats. "Have seen people's confidence in BJP and PM Modi. I have also seen the hard work of thousands of party workers, and based on that, I can say that BJP will form govt in Rajasthan with 135 seats," CP Joshi told ANI. Meanwhile, former Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said there were a lot of silent voters in Rajasthan this time. "That's why I think the analysis shown in the exit poll is not true. There's a need for change and the BJP will form the government in Rajasthan," he told PTI.
With pollsters predicting a photo finish in Chhattisgarh, former CM and BJP leader Raman Singh said BJP would form a government in Chhattisgarh with a huge majority. "3-4 exit polls have shown their numbers from 69 to 42 which means there has been a big fall in Congress' votes...on the other hand, it is shown that BJP seats have increased to 46 from 15... which shows BJP's fast growth in Chhattisgarh...it has become clear that Congress govt is going and BJP is going to form govt in Chhattisgarh with a huge majority," Singh told ANI. Meanwhile, Congress leader and Chhattisgarh Deputy CM TS Singh Deo said Congress will win around 60 seats on December 3 in the 90-member assembly.
Reacting to exit poll results that predicted an edge for the Congress, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra exuded confidence that BJP would win 150 seats. "PM Modi has done the work where the poor people have benefitted... As soon as Shivraj Singh Chouhan came into power, he introduced schemes beneficial to the poor...We will win more than 150 seats. Everyone knows how Kamal Nath had ruled...Their vision is the vision of lies... Digvijaya Singh himself says that the Congress loses everywhere he goes," Mishra told ANI. ABP-CVoter has predicted Congress will bag anywhere between 113 to 137 seats.
On Assembly Exit Polls, Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya says, "The BJP is definitely forming the government... We are going to form a government in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh with a huge majority... In Telangana and Mizoram, the BJP will have its biggest win in history... The lotus will bloom in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh... The opposition is powerless and without any agenda. They are going to remain out of power because of the activities they do..."
Congress MP Pramod Tiwari says his party will form govt in all five states, adding "unsure if BJP will open an account in Telangana, Mizoram polls".
On the Assembly Elections Exit Poll, UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak says, "According to the reports, the BJP will perform the best. The BJP is winning in all states and will perform better in the Southern states... The opposition keeps speaking on such topics (Caste-based census) to misguide the people. We are committed to the overall development of the state."

Months of campaigning, promises, and jibes concluded on Thursday after polling for the Telangana assembly ended on Nov 30 closing the fate of candidates. Exit polls have predicted a tough fight between the BJP and Congress in three states -- Rajasthan, Madya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh with Rajasthan being predicted to be a big loss for the Congress. With only one day remaining for the D-Day, political parties are ready with members tasked to remain present at counting centres.
Counting of votes for four states will begin on Sunday (Dec 3) at 8 am. The Election Commission has changed the date of counting for Mizoram from Dec 3 to Dec 4.
Meanwhile, the ABP-CVoter Exit poll shows the Congress faces a tough fight against the BJP in Chhattisgarh with the ruling party projected to secure a majority mark with 41 to 53 seats, a vote percentage of 43 per cent.
MNF is projected to cross the majority mark in Mizoram of 20 in terms of the range of seats, ZPM is likely to emerge as the principle Opposition while the Congress is trailing behind at the third spot.
Meanwhile, in Rajasthan, the charisma of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will get anywhere between 94 to 114 seats and garner a vote share of 44.7 per cent. The Congress is predicted to get 71 to 91 seats, but see a rise in vote share to 41.1 per cent from 39.3 per cent it received in the 2018 polls.
In Madhya Pradesh, Congress is once again set to win polls and bag anywhere between 113 to 137 seats. The grand old party, which fought the polls under the leadership of former CM Kamal Nath, is likely to garner a vote share of 44.1 per cent. On the other hand, BJP, which aiming for a fourth consecutive term in power, has been predicted to win 88-112 seats, with a 40.7 per cent vote share.
A change may also be seen in Telangana as Congress is predicted to dislodge Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Congress is likely to bag 49-65 seats in the 119-member Assembly.
