Delhi | BJP Telangana internal core group's meeting lasted for about 7 hours at Telangana BJP poll in-charge Prakash Javadekar's residence. State BJP chief & Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, Tarun Chugh, K Laxman, DK Aruna, Sunil Bansal and Bandi Sanjay were present at the meeting. BJP released a list of 40 campaigners who will campaign for party candidates for phase 1 of the Chhattisgarh elections. PM Narendra Modi, BJP chief JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, HM Amit Shah and others to campaign.
Union Minister Kailash Choudhary says, "... Just see when Congress' list is out, there would be chaos in front of their party office. But it is true that the no. of candidates in BJP is huge... There would be chaos and no one would be there to stop them. Also, who is there to stop them other than Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra... She is coming here now. She says, 'Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon,' but Rajasthan has the highest crime against women but Priyanka never came here. Now she is coming because of the elections."
"BJP doesn't wait for anyone. Paty's first list is out. The second list will be issued soon. I can definitely say that the second list that will be released will have winning candidates and they will be there with everyone's opinion. People in Rajasthan want a change. The manner in which there has been 'jungle raj' under Ashok Gehlot's government, crime is happening, incidents of rape are increasing, gang wars are happening and there is nobody to stop; policy of appeasement that has been adopted in Rajasthan - looking at all this, public wants change and BJP will come to power with full majority," Union Minister Kailash Choudhary told news agency ANI.
"The Congress had made Madhya Pradesh a 'bimaru' state, a backward state, where there was lack of basic amenities. People of the state brought the bad governance to and end in 2003, and since then, BJP has been in power expect 1 year and three months," Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.

BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya flagged off the hi-tech campaign vehicles of BJP in Indore for election campaigning. He said, "We are flagging off 37 vehicles to promote works of central and state government in all seats of Indore Assembly constituency...We will again make government with 2/3 majority in Madhya Pradesh."
BJP Telangana core group meeting to be held at the residence of party leader Prakash Javadekar today for a discussion on the selection of candidates for 119 seats. State BJP president G Kishan Reddy, Etala Rajendran, L Laxman and Sanjay Bandi to take part in the meeting ahead of the party's CEC meeting on Friday, news agency ANI reported.

Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and BJP leader Raman Singh has urged the Election Commission of India to reschedule the polling date of second phase on account of Chhath Puja.
Singh in a post on X said the second phase of Chhattisgarh assembly election is coinciding with Chhath puja festival due to which a large number of people will not be able to take part in the electoral process.
“I request @ECISVEEP to please postpone the second phase of voting, so that more and more voters can take part in the electoral process and exercise their franchise,” he added.

The Assembly polls in the five states will be held between November 7 and November 30. Mizoram will go to polls on November 7, Madhya Pradesh on November 17, Rajasthan on November 25, and Telangana on November 30 while Chhattisgarh will vote in two phases on November 7 and November 17.
Congress is likely to announce the first list of candidates in Rajasthan and second list of candidates in Madhya Padesh and Chhattisgarh. Eleven candidates filed nominations on Tuesday for the first phase of the two-phased Chhattisgarh assembly elections next month, officials said. It took the number of candidates who have filed their papers to 17.
Tuesday was the third day of filing of nominations for the first phase of polling on November 7 in 20 constituencies, spread across seven Naxal-affected districts of Bastar division and four other districts -- Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Rajnandgaon, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and Kabirdham.
Eleven candidates filed 16 nomination papers (with some of them filing more than one sets) in nine assembly constituencies on Tuesday, a poll official said.
Congress on Monday released the names of its candidates for all 40 assembly seats in Mizoram which will go to polls on November 7. The Congress candidates were announced on a day former party chief Rahul Gandhi arrived here on a two-day campaign visit.
The party first released a list of 39 candidates and then in the evening it announced the candidature of Meiriam L Hrangchal from Lunglei South (ST) constituency.
The names of candidates will, however, be officially announced at a function to be held at the party office here on Tuesday, Congress state media chairman Lalremruata Renthlei said. The Congress list included the names of four incumbent legislators.
The current term of Mizoram Legislative Assembly would end on December 17, 2023, Chhattisgarh on January 3, 2024, Madhya Pradesh on January 6, 2024, Rajasthan on January 14, 2024, and Telangana on January 16, 2024.
