'We wanted to conduct a non-military, pre-emptive airstrike in Pakistan. We ensured that no Pakistani citizen was harmed in it. We wanted to target only terrorists,' PM Modi said on Pakistan airstrike.
Since the past week, I have started meeting voters as part of the BJP's campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls . However, I have been in the political landscape for the last 45 years and am well versed with the dynamics, said PM Modi on account of work done in past 60 months.
Now if the question arises of 60 years or 60 months, i would like to say that the country has observed that a PM has worked tirelessly and does not pose any questions: PM Modi on his 60 months of governance.
I have made the entire nation my own: PM Modi said.

Further speaking about demonetisation, PM Modi said that note ban was a step taken by huge courage which resulted in betterment of country's economy in the long run. PM also said that demonetisation helped in tracking black money and undisclosed income.
When asked about relation of Narendra Modi from Muslims of this country, the PM said when he was Gujarat CM, he was asked what your government has done for Muslims? PM said he replied by saying 'my government has done nothing for Muslims but also my government did nothing for Hindus too. My government worked for the people of Gujarat.'

When aksked about why PM does not take name of Rahul Gandhi during his speeches and rallies, he said: 'I come from a very common background. They come from big family, how can people like us take names of such big people.'

Dynasty politics is not good for the country. We share our thoughts of dynasty with other parties very publicly.
When asked about his thoughts of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra contesting against him in Banaras, PM Modi said that democracy gives right to everyone to contest elections from whereever they want.
Sumit Awasthi: Is is true that PM Modi has initiated investigation against his political opponents.
PM Modi: Those making such baseless allegations must give proofs. All the cases against these people were there before I came to power. All the cases against them were supressed and now if those cases reopen, what is my fault.
Rubika Liyaquat asked PM about the allegation of him busy in photoshoot when Pulwama attack took place. PM said: It is shameful that some people think like this, I was not aware that something like this will happen.

Speaking about proofs of airstrike on Balakot, PM Modi said that the biggest proof was given was Pakistan itself by tweeting about the attack. Those who are putting allegations or asking for numbers can keep on doing that.

Further speaking about alliance of BJP with PDP in Kashmir, PM Modi clearly said that it was a 'milawat waali sarkar' (government of mixture). 'Mehbooba Mufti has a different style of working and we have different though process,' PM Modi said.
Speaking about Congress manifesto and the review of AFSPA act stated by Rahul Gandhi, PM Modi also said that the Congress party has insulted country's Army in its manifesto.

Aspirations have aroused in country's common man during my tenure, PM Modi said.
The interview kicked off with Sumit Awasthi asking PM Narendra Modi how was the past 60 months for him and if there was something he could not do. Replaying to which, PM said that during previous government's tenure people did not have aspirations from government. This is what is different during this government's tenure. Common man expects more from government.
