Of all the students who appeared in the examination, 86.34% passed the examination successfully. This is higher than the previous year pass percentage.
Boys had performed better with a pass percentage of 89.97 percent while girls had recorded a pass percentage of 82.87 percent.

86.34% have fared the examinations successfully, the board annoucned the pass percenatge in a press conefercne held to announce the result. Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay, President, WBBSE has confirmed that since the exams have been completed before the lockdown, the merit list will be published.
WBBSE Board Madhyamik class 10 Exam Results 2020 has announced the much-awaited results in the morning today. The results will be uploaded on the respective website by 10:30 am. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday confirmed the news. July 15. The marksheets will released in some time putting an end to the wait of around 10 lakhs students who appeared for it. This year the results were delayed due to the pandemic and the nationwide lockdown. The class 10 exams ended on 22 February. Around 10 lakh students appeared for the exams this year. Usually mark sheets are handed over to the students as soon as results are declared but this year it will be made online.
