Re-Exam Answer key For 8,753 Candidates Out

NEET UG 2023 answer key has been released for candidates who appeared in the re-exam due to the law and order situation at Manipur. A total of 8,753 candidates appeared for re-exam which was conducted at 34 examination centers situated in 11 cities within the state.

NEET UG 2023 Result: Admission Quotas

The admission quotas for NEET UG 2023 are as follows:


a. All India quota Government: This quota is for government medical and dental colleges across India, excluding the state quota seats.


b. All India quota Government aided: This quota is for government-aided medical and dental colleges across India, excluding the state quota seats.


c. All India quota Private: This quota is for private medical and dental colleges across India, excluding the state quota seats.


d. State Govt. quota/Institutional quota: This quota is for medical and dental colleges within each state, reserved for state government institutions or specific institutional quotas.


e. Central Universities/National Institutes: This quota is for medical and dental colleges under central universities or national institutes.


f. Deemed to be Universities: This quota is for medical and dental colleges that are deemed to be universities.


g. Management/NRI Quota: This quota is typically available in private medical and dental colleges for management seats or seats reserved for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).

NEET Answer key Was Released On June 4

The provisional answer key for the examination was made available on June 4, 2023. Candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections to the answer key until June 6, 2023.

When Will NEET Result Release?

The National Testing Agency has reportedly given assurance to the parliamentary committee that the NEET UG 2023 Result will be declared by the second week of June. Now, students can expect results anytime this week.

NEET UG Result 2023 Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NEET UG Result 2023 and the final answer key soon on the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in. Along with the NEET Result, NTA will also release the names of the All India toppers and category-wise cut-off marks and percentile ranks.


The NEET UG 2023 examination took place on May 7, 2023. This year, a total of 20,87,449 students took the national medical entrance test. The NEET answer key was published on June 4, 2023. Candidates were given until June 6, 2023 to raise objections regarding the answer key. 


Notably, the NEET UG exam is conducted every year by National Testing Agency (NTA) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages, as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.


NEET UG Marking Scheme:


In NEET UG 2023, the marking criteria are as follows:



  • For each correct answer, four marks will be awarded (+4).

  • For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted (-1).

  • Unanswered questions will not be awarded or deducted any marks (0).


If a question has multiple correct options and a candidate marks any of those correct options, they will receive four marks (+4).


If all options of a question are correct and a candidate attempts the question, they will be awarded four marks (+4) regardless of which option they selected.

- Visit the official website of NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.


- On the home page, look for the "NTA NEET UG Result 2023" link and click on it.


- You will be directed to a login page. Enter your login details, such as your registration number and password, and click on the "Submit" button.


- Your NEET result will be displayed on the screen, showing your marks and other relevant information.


- Take the time to carefully review your result. If needed, you can also download the result page for future reference.
