Over 9 lakh students are reported to have appeared for the class 12 RBSE exams, of which, 2,39,800 registered for the science stream. To avoid overloading the website with overwhelming traffic, the Rajasthan board decided to declare the result in two parts.
While this year, 91.96% of students have passed the RBSE Science exams. The pass percentage has dipped compared to last year when 92.88% had cleared the exams.
The most scoring subjects for students where several candidates were able to score 100/100 are reported to be English, Hindi, Mathematics, agriculture biology, biology, physics, agriculture chemistry, chemistry and agriculture.
While dates of supplementary exams are not announced, Students who have failed in all subjects have been declared failed. Only those who failed in one or two subjects will have a second chance by getting to appear for supplementary exams.
According to reports, out of the 4,396 candidates will have to appear for supplementary exams, 3,111 students are boys and 1,285 are girls. The dates for supplementary exams are yet to be announced.
2,37,305 students had appeared for the RBSE Science stream exams. As per reports, while 2,18,232 have passed, 4,396 candidates will have to appear for supplementary exams.
Girls have outperformed boys in Rajasthan Board Class 12 science exams. 94.90 percent of girls cleared the exam while 90.61 percent of boys passed. Girls have also scored 4.29 percentage points better as compared to the boys.
The state education minister Govind Singh Dotasra congratulated all the students who cleared the Class 12 Science Exams on Twitter. He wrote, "The Class 12 Science stream results have been declared. There were about 2,37,305 candidates and the pass percentage is 91.96%. Congratulations to all students who have passed. Because of CM Ashok Gehlot's leadership, Rajasthan became the first state where exams were conducted following all safety norms amid Covid-19 scare and the results have been declared in a record 19 days. I congratulate the employees of the board for this feat."
Yash Sharma has topped the class 12 science exams by securing 95.60 percent marks. Puneet Maheshwari had topped last in year in the science stream by scoring 495 out of 500 marks.
The pass percentage remains over 90 percent for Rajasthan Board class 12 science. This year, 91.96 percent candidates have cleared the exam.

GRACE Marks Provision : Students will get grace marks if they fail in a subject with shortage of upto 5% marks. If a student fails in two subjects with shortage of up to 3% marks in each, then grace marks will be provided in each paper.

In what may come as a major relief for students, the Central Board of Secondary Education is looking to reduce the CBSE class 10 and class 12 syllabus for board exams by almost one-third for the academic year 2020-21, reports said. The Board has asked the National Council of Educational Research and Training, to suggest themes or topics which are repeated or are overlapping.
