In 2018, though only 66.54% of class 10th students were declared pass, MPBSE had registered an improvement of nearly 17% from 49.86% pass percentage in the previous year, 2017. This was also the state’s best performance in the past twenty years.

In 2018, 68.08% Class 12th students were declared pass by the then Chief Minister of state, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. To encourage students to perform better, Mr. Chouhan had announced to sponsor higher education of meritorious students.

MPBSE had organized the HSSC Class 12th examinations from 2nd March 2019 to 2nd April 2019 across the state for all three main streams viz arts, science and commerce and for vocational subjects. The Board had organized separate exams for differently abled students. A whopping 7.6 lac students from the state are estimated to have appeared for the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exams.

In 2018, the then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced MP Board results for Classes 10th and 12th on 14th May 2018 at 11:15 am, via a Press Conference held at the CM’s residence.
