ICSE, ISC Result 2019: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is all set to announce the CISCE Class 10th& 12th Result 2019 today, 7th May 2019, at 3PM. The ICSE and ISC results will be hosted on the official website of CISCE - cisce.org as well on its results’ portal results.cisce.org.Students will need their seven-digit Unique ID and Index number so as to check their result online or get it via SMS. The result will be displayed in the following format upon entering the requisite credentials:‘Student’s Name ENG-99, HIN-99, HCG-99, MAT-99, SCI-99, CTA-100, SUPW-A, PCA’ICSE, ISC Exams - Past Year StatsIn 2018, a total of 1,83,387 students had appeared for ICSE i.e. Class 10th Exams and 80,880 students sat for ISC i.e. Class 12th Exams. A total of 1,00,369 and 43,052 students were declared pass in ICSE and ISC exams 2018, respectively, thereby achieving a pass percentage of 98.55% and 96.30% correspondingly.The overall pass percentage of girls for ICSEwas registered at98.94%, with82,146 passing the exams out of total 83,018students who had appeared. For ISC, 36,933 passed the exams out of total 37,828, recording a pass percentage of 97.63%.For boys, the pass percentage for ICSE exams stood at 98.15%, as 98,517 boy students were declared pass out of total 1,00,369 who had appeared for the same. CISCE was founded under the leadership of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the then Education Minister, with a primary aim to replace Cambridge School Certificate Examination by an All India Examination. The Board followed education policies that were made under the guidance of the University of Cambridge. As of 2018, 2161 CISCE affiliated schools had sent students Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams and 1034 schools had fielded students for Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations 2018.
In the Class 10 ICSE examination, ten students have secured second rank with 99.40 percent marks, while the third rank has been shared by 24 students with 99.20 percent marks.
