Spa Pools Heated By Bitcoin? This Brooklyn Sauna Is Making The Best Of Crypto Mining Heat

Bathhouse's system repurposes the excess heat produced by the mining units, effectively turning them into “fancy pool heaters.”

Brooklyn’s Bathhouse, a popular wellness destination in the neighbourhood of Williamsburg, is known for its luxurious amenities like pools, saunas, and hammams. However, behind the relaxing facade lies an unusual setup: Bitcoin mining units working around the clock to heat the spa’s pools. Situated in an 11,000-square-foot space that was once a factory, Bathhouse launched in 2019, offering three thermal pools, saunas, steam rooms, and heated marble hammams, reported Fortune.
