Popular and award-winning British author of children’s books, Dr Katherine Rundell, is unhappy that the reading habit among children in Great Britain, and also in the rest of the world, is declining. She blames this on social media and the smartphone, and feels it is a serious affliction that needs to be corrected globally.
Rundell was in India to attend the Jaipur Literatue Festival. This was her second outing at the annual event.
