The Lok Sabha Election 2024 marked a significant turnaround for the Congress. For years, the party’s electoral performance had been in steady decline, a trend that accelerated with the emergence of the Modi wave. But the 2024 elections – which saw the Congress winning 99 seats, and the I.N.D.I.A bloc led by it getting 234 – suggest a resurgence for the party. The turnaround follows substantial steps taken by the party to address its internal issues and strategise effectively.
