Zero Voting In 6 Nagaland Districts A Jolt To World's Largest Democracy

The elections for the first phase of the 18th Lok Sabha took place on Friday for 102 constituencies spread across 21 states and union territories. Among these, Nagaland was one of those where voting took place. Voting was largely peaceful, and the voter turnout was 56.91% (approximate) — significantly less than that of the 2019 elections, which recorded 83% turnout.
