US Vice President JD Vance’s India visit was a clear signal to India that Washington has changed. This is not the old America that India or the world knew until December 2024. This is a neo-nationalist United States whose priorities and attitude towards even countries like India, which is their strategic ally, will be very different even as they ascertain their semi-urban identities in their efforts to ‘Make America Great Again’ (MAGA) and in a much stronger tempo than what was
