Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua won the title of Miss Universe, a first for her nation.

By being the first female from her nation to win the Miss Universe title, Palacios made history.

The new Miss Universe title holder was born in 2000.

Sheynnis attended Central American University in Managua to study mass communication.

She participated in her first beauty pageant in 2016 after taking home the Miss Teen Nicaragua 2016 title.

In 2020, she was crowned Miss World Nicaragua.

Sheynnis Palacios is a model and television host.

She finished in the Top 40 of Miss World 2021 as well.

She loves sports as well and represented her university on the varsity volleyball team.
