Techies Leading 'Viksit Bharat' To Make India A Developed Nation By 2047: Here's How
Tech-forward innovators aspire to lead and succeed through multimillion-dollar startups, contributing to the national vision, claims a report titled 'India’s Turn To Lead By 2047'.
The roadmaps showed that 85% of 133 techies, who were interviewed, believe that India will turn into a developed nation by 2047.
Must-haves for Developed India from Tech forward innovator's POV: Economic Prosperity, Social Equity, Infrastructure Development, Cyber security, and Comprehensive Human Development.
Sectors that will drive India's vision: Education & Skill sectors will lead the movement and comprise 35 per cent, Fintech will comprise 25 per cent of the movement, and Cybersecurity will comprise 20 per cent.
Challenges that lie ahead: 30% will be related to ease of doing business, 22% will be related to cyberattacks, 19% will be related to global competition, 16% will be lack of urban infra, and 13% related to brain drain.
Issues on which policy intervention is required are: Education, Startup Ecosystem, Digital adoption, data protection, connectivity infra.
