Nityanand Swami was first CM of Uttarakhand, named Uttaranchal during his tenure. He served the state from Nov 9, 2000 to Oct 29, 2001

RSS Veteran Bhagat Singh Koshiyari was the second CM of Uttarkhand. He ruled the state from Oct 30, 2001 to Mar 1, 2002.

Narayan Datt Tiwari served once as Chief Minister of Uttarakhand (2002–2007) He was also a three-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

Major Gen Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri (Retd.) became CM of Uttarakhand twice. He served the state from 2007 to 2009 & 2011 to 2012.

Ramesh Pokhiriyal was the fifth Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. The former Union Minister served the state from 2009 to 2011.

Vijay Bahuguna was sworn in as Uttarkhand CM on Mar 13, 2012. The BJP leader resigned from his CM post on Jan 31, 2014.

Harish Rawat was the CM of Uttarakhand from 2014 to 2017. President's rule was imposed thrice in state during his tenure.

BJP leader Trivendra Singh Rawat was Uttarakhand CM between 2017 and 2021.

Tirath Singh Rawat took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand on Mar 10, 2021. Rawat and his cabinet colleagues resigned on July 2, 2021.

Pushkar Singh Dhami is serving as the 11th and the current Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.
