Sam Altman-led OpenAI recently launched its dedicated search engine, SearchGPT. It gives quick answers to the prompt/query of users. Let's go over a few examples to show the prowess of SearchGPT.
User asked a very simple question to SearchGPT here and akin to Google, this search engine came up with an answer to the query, photos of the Nudibranchs and also a few links.
The popup here showed the headline of the Reuters article from where this information was sourced so that the user can verify it if he/she wishes.
A user was seen talking to SearchGPT to get the answers to its query like we do with ChatGPT.
It also featured some cool widgets which we get to see in some other search engines.

It might be a farfetched imagination at this time (as SearchGPT is at the prototype stage currently) but with all this in store, SearchGPT will most likely give Google a tough competition for the number one spot.
