Apple Watch has known to be a life saviour. Recently it saved the life of a cyclist in the US who met with a accident.
A real estate broker named Eric Zollinger was riding a Citi Bike from his office to his home during a torrential rain.
Unfortunately, on his way, he encountered a hidden pothole submerged beneath floodwater and fell on the pavement.
Despite being injured he made his way back home but passed out in the bathroom where his body hit the tub.
Upon sensing the fall, and Zollinger not moving for a minute, Apple Watch automatically dialled 911 and alerted the emergency contacts of his location.
Zollinger said, 'The next thing I remember hearing is, '911, what's your emergency?'
He had his scans done at a local hospital where it was revealed that he hadn't sustained any broken bones and was released soon after.
He praised the smartwatch for saving his life and said, 'I don't know how things would have gone for me if the watch hadn't alerted me.'
He added, 'I feel very fortunate and grateful at what transpired and happened in how my Apple Watch helped me. It's a very clever watch.'
