Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT will stream on Netflix starting October 3, less than a month after its theatrical release.
Netflix India announced the news and wrote, “Ever seen a lion become a G.O.A.T?! Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T- The Greatest Of All Time is coming to Netflix on 3 October in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Hindi. #TheGOATOnNetflix.”
It will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
GOAT has grossed approximately Rs 449.35 crore worldwide and Rs 249.75 crore net in India, showcasing strong box office performance.
Thalapathy Vijay plays dual roles in the film, which is highlighted in the promotional poster where he looks at another version of himself.
The storyline revolves around Gandhi, an anti-terrorism squad leader, whose son Jeevan is kidnapped in Bangkok. Years later, he reunites with his squad to confront past challenges.
The film features a talented cast, including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Yogi Babu.
GOAT is one of Vijay's final films before he enters politics with his newly formed party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, following another film with director H Vinoth.
