Jailer has surpassed Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan II' as the highest-grossing Tamil movie this year.

Jailer has earned ₹174.15 crore in India, across all languages.

In India, the film made an opening collection of ₹48.35 crore when it released on Thursday, August 10.

Jailer is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar with music composed by Anirudh.

Jailer also stars Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Tamannah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Shivrajkumar, and Nagendra Babu.
