Released on May 1, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar explores the lives of courtesans in Lahore.

Heera Mandi was a red-light district during the Indian independence movement.

The series marked Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s digital debut.

Heeramandi also starred Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sharmin Segal in pivotal roles.
