India's Harnaaz Sandhu bagged the 'Miss Universe 2021' title, winning the prestigious beauty pageant on December 13.
The 21-year-old bagged the prestigious title after beating participants from 80 countries at the coveted beauty pageant.
The 70th edition of the Miss Universe beauty pageant took place in Eilat, Israel.
The model-actress Harnaaz Sandhu bagged the 'Miss India Universe' title in October 2021.
The Miss Universe crown has been brought home after 21 years. The last time when an Indian won the title was in 2000, when actor Lara Dutta was crowned Miss Universe.
Harnaaz was crowned by her predecessor Andrea Meza of Mexico, who won the pageant in 2020.
Her beauty pageant journey began with Times Fresh Face in 2017, representating Chandigarh.
She also holds the title of Femina Miss India Punjab 2019.
Sandhu has also worked in a few Punjabi films like, ‘Yaaran Diyan Poo Baran’ and ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’.
Harnaaz is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Administration.
