Dudhwa National Park: Things To Keep In Mind Before Planning A Trip

The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife species, including tigers, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, swamp deer, and many other animals.

Here are some rules that you need to keep in mind: 1. Pets are not permitted inside the Tiger Reserve.

2. Walking and trekking is strictly prohibited within the Tiger Reserve.

3. Shouting, teasing, chasing animals or attempting to feed them is a punishable offence.

4. Visitors are required to switch off all electrical appliances and turn off water taps when not in use. All vehicles should be parked in the designated area only.

Jeep safaris in Dudhwa are conducted by the park authorities and are available in both the morning and evening. The duration of the safari is typically around 2-3 hours, during which you can explore the park and spot some of its wildlife.

The best time to visit Dudhwa National Park for a jeep safari is during the winter months of November to May. During this time, the weather is pleasant and the chances of spotting wildlife are higher as they come out to bask in the sun.



The park is open for a fixed number of months in a year i.e. from 15th November-15th June and the safari timings for the National Park is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
