The Delhi Police Crime Branch has served notices to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Minister Atishi,

seeking information regarding poaching allegations levelled against the BJP.

On January 27, both Kejriwal and Atishi claimed that the BJP was attempting to

poach AAP MLAs by offering them Rs 25 crore each along with a ticket to contest in the upcoming assembly polls.

CM Kejriwal on Sunday said, 'They say, come and join BJP and we will leave you alone

But I will never join BJP. Why should we join BJP? If you join BJP, all sins are forgiven.'

Atishi claimed, 'The notice does not have any mention of an FIR. It does not even include any section of the IPC or CrPC or PMLA or Prevention of Corruption Act.'

'Crime Branch officers are being forced by their political bosses to indulge in such theatrics,' Atishi remarked.

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said, 'Kejriwal is levelling false allegations to create sensation. The truth behind his lie is about to be exposed now. He cannot lie and then run away from probe.'

BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli remarked, 'Arvind Kejriwal seems to be in a habit of making a statement with no basis.'

Both Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi have been asked to respond to the notices by February 5.
