This was the legendary pacer's record 188th Test match.



James Anderson finished with 704 Test wickets, the most by a fast bowler in this format.



Jimmy Anderson bowled 40,037 balls over the course of a 21-year-long Test career.



He finished with 32 five-wicket hauls, averaging 26.45.



Anderson also represented England in ODIs and T20Is.



In 194 ODIs, Anderson scalped 269 wickets, averaging 29.22, with an economy of less than 5.



In 19 T20Is, Jimmy had 18 wickes to his credit. His last white-ball game for Three Lions came in 2015.
