Bowlers Who Got Their Maiden Test Wicket On A No-Ball

1. Akash Deep (India)

Akash Deep, who was handed the Test cap in the fourth Test against England in Ranchi, added his name to the list of players who got their maiden wicket off no-balls. He bowled Zak Crawley but it was called a no-ball.

2. Tom Curran (England)

The former Australian opener David Warner was hurried on by Curran's short-pitched delivery and pulled one straight to mid-on. However, the delivery was called a no-ball by the umpire. It was a Boxing Day Test of The Ashes 2017.

3. Mark Wood (England)

England's fast bowler Mark Wood also finds himself on this list due to the no-ball he bowled to get Martin Guptill out in his first Test at Lord's in 2015.

4. Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka)

Sri Lanka legend Lasith Malinga was also among the players who missed out on getting their first Test wicket owing to a no-ball against Australia back in 2004. He got rid of Darren Lehmann off a no-ball.

5. Ben Stokes (England)

Current England captain Ben Stokes is also on this list. This match was against Australia in The Ashes 2013-14 and it was Brad Haddin who had been dismissed off a no-ball.
