Prateik Babbar attended the Mumbai screening of his late mother Smita Patil’s film, Manthan.

The actor made a style statement as he wore a suit pant made from her Kanjeevaram sarees.

His outfit was designed by Indian designer Rahul Vijay.

Rahul took to Instagram to share Prateik’s look.

He revealed that Prateik’s aunt gave them to select two silk Kanjeevaram sarees.

Prateik’s outfit features a cropped double-breasted tuxedo in black silk.

It is paired with pinstripe-patterned wide-legged pants.

Prateik was accompanied by his girlfriend and actor Priya Banerjee at the screening.

Shyam Benegal’s film Manthan, starring late actor Smita, was also screened at the Cannes film festival.
