Fortune India has released the list of celebrities who paid the highest amount of income tax in India in 2024.
This year, Kareena Kapoor has emerged as Bollywood's highest tax-paying female celeb.
With her hit films, endorsements, and business ventures, she tops the tax charts in the entertainment industry, says Fortune India.
According to the list, Kareena Kapoor paid Rs 20 crore in taxes, while Kiara Advani followed with Rs 12 crore.
Katrina Kaif ranks third, paying Rs 11 crore in taxes, with no other female celebrities making the list.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan is said to have paid the most tax in 2024 out of all Indian celebs on the list.
On the other hand, Salman Khan paid Rs 75 crore in taxes.
On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Crew, also starring Kriti Sanon and Tabu.
She will be next seen in Hansal Mehta's upcoming thriller The Buckingham Murders.
