Bhagyashree began her acting career with the 1987 TV serial Kachchi Dhoop, which was based on Louisa May Alcott's 'Little Women'.

She has also been a part of films like Qaid Main Hai Bulbul, Tyagi, Mahendra Shah's Paayal, & Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi.
Bhayashree has also been a part of a few Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films.
