With judges of 5 different faiths, SC commences hearing on triple talaq today
NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Thursday started hearing a set of petitions challenging the practice of triple talaq, 'nikah halala' and polygamy under the Muslim personal law. The constitution bench that is hearing the pleas comprises five judges belonging to five religious group including Sikh, Christian, Parsee, Hindu and Muslim.
