Surajkund Mela Horror: Police Inspector Loses Life While Saving Visitors from Swing Accident
In a shocking incident at the Surajkund Fair in Faridabad, Haryana, a swing ride suddenly collapsed, throwing visitors into panic and chaos. The tragic accident claimed the life of Police Inspector Jagdish Prasad, who was serving as the SHO of Chandhat Police Station in Palwal district. Twelve other people sustained injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Eyewitnesses reported that around 26 people were on the swing when it broke. Inspector Prasad bravely tried to rescue visitors during the incident, but unfortunately, he lost his life in the process. The state government has ordered a formal inquiry, and an ADC-led committee has been formed to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
