Shivpal Yadav's Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party likely to ally with Congress

A day after Congress General Secretary made her first big move on Wednesday by allying with Mahan Dal-a regional party in Uttar Pradesh; the party is likely to ally with former Samajwadi Party leader and the founder of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party Shivpal Yadav. 

This comes on the wake of Priyanka Gandhi’s attempts of joining hands with smaller parties in the state in order to strengthen the UPA further.

As per sources, one of Priyanka’s aide met Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party founder Shivpal Yadav; and are likely to hold another round of meeting on the last day Priyanka Gandhi’s Lucknow tour on Thursday. After everything is finalised, Shivpal is also likely to meet Shivpal herself.
