Yogi Adityanath transfers Rs 611 Crore to bank account of 27.5 Lakh workers

Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath today transferred Rs 611 Crore directly to the bank account of 27.5 Lakh workers of the state, under MNREGA scheme, in the light of Coronavirus lockdown. The CM also talked to them through video-conference today, informing them of the scheme. Uttar Pradesh has been facing a huge surge in reverse migration with people from various states returning to their homes despite the lockdown.
